Some people choose to spend their time getting the most amount of gold or the high score, and that’s great, more power to them. But seems to me they are missing out on a lot of what it has to offer.

As exciting as things are in the beginning, no matter how carefully you choose your path, it inevitably becomes a grind. But what makes those daily grinds worthwhile is not the gold you get, but time you spend with friends and family you make along the way.

Of course, there’s always drama about who is not pulling weight and how to divide the loot. But if you stick together and learn to overcome seemingly impossible obstacles, it’s one of the greatest feelings you can have. Along the way, if you take chances and open up, you might also learn something about yourself and over time become more of yourself, and that also feels pretty amazing.

You’ll make friends by helping people you run into. Not all of them will stay, but those who do are priceless. You’ll learn how to be generous. You’ll learn how to be kind. You might even learn have to fun, if you are lucky.
